Terms & Conditions

The ULTIMATE ZYN SUMMER EXPERIENCE (“Offer”) with details provided in ANNEX A is open to legal age users who are at least 18 years old (as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer) and above residing in Metro Manila, Philippines who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products (“Customer”). 

I. GENERAL

1. This Offer is being carried out by PMFTC Inc (“PMFTC”).

2. PMFTC reserves the right to modify, change, or revise the rules and mechanics of the Offer.

3. Customers using multiple emails / mobile numbers to participate in the Offer are disqualified. PMFTC reserves the right to disqualify any Customer if there is any evidence of fraud or irregularities in his/her participation in the Offer.

4. PMFTC reserves the right to cancel, amend, or revoke these terms and conditions without notice in the event of fraudulent activity, cheating, a security breach or any anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, an event or disturbance outside of PMFTC’s control such as acts of God, civil or military events, catastrophes, technical issues/connectivity, pandemic or war. Any changes to the Offer will be announced accordingly.

5. All decisions of PMFTC in all matters relating to the interpretation and implementation of this terms and conditions, including the mechanics are final, and no objections and/or appeals thereon will be entertained.

6. Customers availing the Offer agree and confirm the following:

(a) that you are a legal-age nicotine user at least 18 years old or above as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer;

(b) that you have read and understood the terms and conditions detailed herein;

(c) that you agree to follow the applicable mechanics listed in ANNEX A of the Offer;

(d) that you agree to assume all such risks, foreseeable or otherwise, and hereby release and discharge PMFTC, its affiliates and all other persons and entities connected with the Offer from any liability for, or any claims that may arise in respect of, any and all property losses and/or injuries whatsoever that you may sustain, no matter how any such property losses and/or injuries are caused.

7. PMFTC will not be liable to the Customer for any taxes, costs, liabilities or expenses that may arise from this Offer.

8. By participating in the Offer, Customer confirms his/her consent to process his/her personal data provided as part of the Offer. Details of such processing are described in Philip Morris International’s (PMI) Consumer Privacy Notice found at https://www.pmiprivacy.com/en/consumer.

ANNEX A

MECHANICS

1. Eligibility/Who Can Participate:

(a) Customers residing in Metro Manila, Philippines

(b) Customers who have a public Facebook account or Instagram account

(c) Customers who have a valid government-issued ID (i.e Passport, Driver’s License, UMID, SSS, TIN, Voter’s ID, etc.)

(d) Employees of PMFTC, its affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotions agencies, companies involved in the promotion, their agents, as well as their respective relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are NOT eligible to join or win in this Offer.

2. Specific terms of the Offer:

(a) Promo duration for the Offer is from 10:00 AM April 21, 2025 – May 23, 2025 5:00 PM. PMFTC has the sole discretion to shorten or extend the Offer period if circumstances so warrant.

(b) A Customer can participate in the Offer by:

(i) Signing up in the microsite form to be provided by Store Staff of select IQOS Stores, and deployed in select 7-ELEVEN stores, and Legal Age Meeting Places located in Metro Manila within the promo duration and filling up all fields in the form. Customer must include the following details

● Full Name

● Email

● Mobile number

● Link to FB or IG account

● City of Residence

● Short write up on answering the question: “What’s your Ultimate Cebu Summer Experience?”

● Photo of their valid government-issued ID (i.e Passport, Driver’s License, UMID, SSS, TIN, Voter’s ID, etc.)

● Where they found out about the promo

(c) Note: Regardless of the number of entries submitted, Customer will only be eligible to win once in the Offer.

(d) The submission of entry for this Offer entitles the Customer a opportunity to win an all-expense paid trip for two (2) to Cebu, Philippines from June 5, 2025 to June 7, 2025, including the opportunity to attend ZYN SOCIALS in Cebu on June 6, 2025.

(e) By signing up for the Offer, each Customer agrees to provide PMFTC, its authorized representatives, and third-party service providers with their personal data. The personal data of the Customer such as but not limited to name, address, email, and contact number will be used to determine capacity and eligibility to participate and win in the Offer. PMFTC will only process personal data indicated on winning electronic entries. Personal data on all other electronic entries will not be processed and will be disposed of. PMFTC will keep the electronic entries for (60) sixty days after the end of the promotion and will be processed in accordance with https://www.pmiprivacy.com/global/en.

 3. Selection and qualification of winners

(a) Unless notified otherwise, the selection of the winners for the Offer will be based on the follwing criteria:

(i) Customer must be residing in Metro Manila, Philippines

(ii) Customer must have completed and submitted the microsite form including the submission of a photo of their valid government-issued ID during the promo period (10:00 AM April 21, 2025 – May 23, 2025 5:00 PM)

(iii) Customer’s answer on “What’s your Ultimate Cebu Summer Experience?” shows that they are free to flow with the several activities we have lined up in Cebu.

Selected winners will be declared as winners of the Offer.

(b) Unless otherwise provided here, the selection of the winners will be final.

(c) To be qualified as a winner, there must be no evidence of fraud, irregularity, or illegal acts. PMFTC reserves the right to conduct checks and verifications on any selected winner for purposes of complying PMFTC’s policies and procedures and applicable laws, and select alternative winners if PMFTC reasonably believes that the distribution of the prizes to such winners would be in breach of PMFTC’s policies, these terms and conditions or any applicable laws.

4. ULTIMATE ZYN SUMMER EXPERIENCE Winners: 

(a) All submissions by eligible Customers will be reviewed by authorized representatives of PMFTC to determine if they met all the criteria listed above in “3. Selection and qualifications of winners”

There will be a total of 5 prizes to be given away for the Offer. Each Customer may only win once throughout the duration of the Offer. Customers cannot win multiple times.

(b) Winners that are selected will be subject to age and identity verification.

(c) Prizes under this Offer are not transferrable and cannot be converted to cash

5. Notification of ULTIMATE ZYN SUMMER EXPERIENCE winners:

(a) Winners will be notified via email and/or call by PMFTC’s authorized representative. By participating in the Offer, Customers are encouraged to check spam/junk folders for the prize notification as there may be accidental redirects of the prize notification email to their spam/junk folder.

(b) PMFTC’s representative will attempt to contact the winner three (3) times. If the winner is still unresponsive, prize will be granted to a new winner subject to the same eligibility verification process.

(c) Winners of the Offer shall undergo verification, where they will be required among others to submit a valid government issued ID within three (3) days from the date they are notified. If any winner fails to submit their government issued ID and/or does not meet the eligibility requirements, he/she will be disqualified, and his/her prize will be deemed forfeited. PMFTC reserves the right to select other winners and be subject to the same eligibility verification process.

(d) When claiming their prizes, all winners of the Offer agree to provide their consent that their names will be published in ZYN official channels including but not limited to ZYN.com, ZYN Philippines Facebook page, and ZYN Philippines Instagram page.

6. Claiming of prizes

(a) Winners can bring one (1) legal age nicotine user as their companion for the Offer.

(b) Once verified by PMFTC’s authorized representative, winners of the Offer will be requested to submit the necessary travel documents or information within May 24, 2025 to May 26, 2025 for PMFTC representatives to book and process their flights. Failure to submit the required documents in the aforementioned dates will result to forfeiture of the prize.

(c) Winners of the Offer will be invited to attend a dinner (details, including date and venue to be announced by PMFTC and winners will be informed in advance) where they can claim their prize. If a winner is unable to claim it during this dinner event, the prize will be forfeited.

(d) Winners of the Offer and their respective one (1) legal age nicotine user companion must present their valid government-issued ID when claiming the prize to verify their age and identity. They will also be asked to sign an Acknowledgement Form as documentation that they have received their respective prize.

(e) Winners of the Offer and their respective one (1) legal age nicotine user companion must be able to comply with all travel requirements including but not limited to have a valid passport, are fit to travel and satisfy the visa requirements (if applicable).

7. Others

(a) Customers/winners in the Offer agree to be bound by these mechanics, and by all decisions of PMFTC and its agents on all matters related to its implementation.

(b) PMFTC will only shoulder final withholding taxes on prizes amounting to more than PhP10,000. Except as expressly provided herein, PMFTC will not be liable to the winners for any taxes, costs, liabilities or expenses that may arise out of the use of the prizes.

(c) Prizes are non-transferrable. Prizes in kind are not convertible to cash.
