Terms & Conditions

  1. The SFP CHOSEN LANU PROGRAM with details provided in ANNEX A (“Program”) is open to legal age users who are at least 18 years old (as of the date of his/her participation in the Program) and above residing in the Philippines who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products (“Adult Consumer/Customer/Participant”).
  2. The Program refers to the submission, selection and approval to provide Adult Consumers to earn engagement gifts, travels, and rewards in return for the Adult Consumer’s effort/task
  3. These efforts/tasks may include but not limited to following any ZYN accounts on social media, visiting on registering on our website, product quizzes, CRM interactions, UGC content, loyalty building challenges, registration of an Adult Consumer in the Company’s Consumer Database, registration of devices to link to Adult Consumer, collection of data about Adult Consumers for further promotional activities, participation in the casting for brand campaign, purchase of our limited edition devices and accessories, visit our brand retail, find us at indirect retail, visit us at events/plug-ins. The Program will be communicated on official ZYN Philippines digital channels such as but not limited to ZYN.com, ZYN Philippines Facebook Page, ZYN PH Viber, and/or ZYN PH SMS, ZYN PH Email.

ANNEX A

MECHANICS OF THE PROGRAM

1. Eligibility:

SFP CHOSEN LANU PROGRAM is a limited time Program of IQOS & ZYN brands open to legal age users who are at least 18 years old (as of the date of his/her participation in the Program) and residing in the Philippines. Entries for SFP CHOSEN LANU PROGRAM can be earned as follows, but not limited to:

a. Having a valid ZYN.com account

b. Following ZYN on social media

c. Visiting and/or registering on our website

d. A chance to win in an owned social media channel after going through the content

e. Product quizzes

f. CRM interactions – opening emails, click on a link from an email, SMS or Viber message

g. UGC contests

h. Loyalty building challenges

i. Registration of an Adult Consumer in the Company’s Consumer Database

j. Registration of devices to link to an Adult Consumer

k. Collection of data about Adult Consumers for further promotional activities

l. Participation in the casting for brand campaign

m. Purchase of our Limited Edition devices and accessories

n. Visit our brand retail

o. Find us at indirect retail

p. Visit events/plug-ins.

q. Program Period: The Program will run from 12:00 AM April 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026 11:59 PM.

2. By participating in the Program, each Adult Customer agrees to provide PMFTC, its authorized representatives, and third-party service providers with their personal data. The personal data of the Participant such as name, address, birth date, and contact number will be used to determine capacity and eligibility to participate in the Program. PMFTC will only process personal data indicated on participating individuals. Personal data on all other electronic entries will not be processed and will be disposed of. PMFTC will keep the consumer data for (one) 1 year after the end of the Program and will be processed in accordance with https://www.pmiprivacy.com/global/en.

Selection of Participants:

a. Participants of the Program will be selected via a set criteria as follows

i. Brand Fit & Positive Representation – 50%

i. Should demonstrate values that align with the core principles of the ZYN brands which include but are not limited to innovation and community engagement.

ii. Must positively represent the brand in their personal and professional conduct. This includes maintaining a respectful and responsible presence both online and offline.

ii. Engagement & Participation – 25%

i. Should actively engage with the Program and the brand initiatives, showing genuine interest and participation in activities and events.

iii. Compliance with Program Mechanics – 25%

i. Must adhere to these Program guidelines and rules, ensuring fair and ethical participation throughout the duration of the Program.

b. Each Adult Customer is eligible to participate multiple times and can receive more than one Material or Experiential Reward throughout the duration of the Program.

c. PMFTC Inc. reserves the right to assign the reward value based on the adult consumer's task and effort. The determination of reward value will be at the sole discretion of PMFTC Inc., ensuring it is commensurate with the nature and extent of the Adult Customer’s participation.

d. The determination of reward value will be at the sole discretion of PMFTC Inc., ensuring it is commensurate with the nature and extent of the consumer's participation.

e. The shortlisting and determination of Participants per leg of the Program will be conducted in the presence of PMFTC’s Legal, Global Communications, External Affairs, Marketing, Digital and representatives.

f. Participants will be contacted by the PMFTC Inc.’s third-party agencies and/or ZYN Customer Care team and their names and/or photographs may be posted on ZYN Philippines channels.

g. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact eligible Participants. Should eligible Participants fail to submit a valid GIID within seventy two (72) hours upon notification, or do not meet any of the eligibility requirements or fails to comply with the Program’s terms and conditions, such Participant will be disqualified, and the reward/s will be deemed forfeited. PMFTC reserves the right to select another Participant who will undergo the same eligibility verification process.

h. Once verified:

i. Verified Participants (i.e., completed the submission of the GIID and are eligible to claim the reward in accordance with these Terms and Conditions) have thirty (30) days during the Program Period to claim his/her reward. If the reward remains unclaimed during the Program Period, it will be automatically forfeited in favor of PMFTC. If however a Participant is not qualified or not eligible or there is proof of fraud, irregularity or illegal acts, then the reward is automatically forfeited and the thirty (30) period to claim the reward will not apply and PMFTC reserves the right to at any time choose another participant.

ii. Unless otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions, all rewards are non-transferable nor convertible to other products.

3. The redemption period for rewards is determined by the duration of the identified brand program. Participants must redeem their rewards within this specified period. The reward can be redeemed in the following channels

(i) IQOS Official Stores (physical)

(ii) Home delivery (physical)

(iii) Brand events (experience)

(iv) LAMPS events (experience)

i. The list of the IQOS Official Stores are provided in SCHEDULE 1

ii. To claim a reward in an IQOS Official Store, verified Participants must present one (1) valid GIID (acceptable valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age are: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver’s License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter’s ID) that correspond to the profile information used upon registering on their ZYN account. If there is any discrepancy in the documents produced for verification and/or the registered profile, the Participant will be disqualified, and the rewards deemed forfeited.

iii. For home delivery of rewards, IQOS authorized courier will deliver the reward within the identified period of the brand program. The courier will require the verified participant to present one (1) valid GIID (acceptable valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age are: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver’s License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter’s ID) that correspond to the profile information used upon registering on their IQOS account. If there is any discrepancy in the documents produced for verification and the registered profile, the Participant will be disqualified, and the rewards deemed forfeited.

iv. After presenting the necessary valid GIID, the verified Participant will be asked to sign an acknowledgement form (see ANNEX B).

v. ZYN authorized courier will communicate and coordinate the delivery details and will attempt to deliver the reward at a maximum of one (1) time only. If the verified participant cannot receive the delivery within fifteen (15) minutes during the first delivery attempt, the Prize is considered forfeited.

vi. In cases where Participant cannot accept the delivery of the reward, an authorized representative who is at least eighteen (18) years old and above can claim on behalf of the Participant provided the following documents are presented to the courier:

a) Valid government issued ID of the representative for identity check and age verification

b) Copy of your valid government issued ID for identity check and age verification

c) Signed authorization letter indicating the order reference number and stating that you are authorizing the representative to receive the reward.

vii. The courier will not be able to proceed with the delivery if any of the above-required documents are not presented.

4. Employees of PMFTC, its affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotions agencies, companies involved in the promotion, their agents, as well as their respective relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to join or win in this Program.

5. The reward is personal to the Participant and is not transferrable and cannot be sold under any circumstances. The reward is not convertible to cash.

6. This Program cannot be combined with other offers/promotions.

HOW TO JOIN:

2. Selection of Participants: Participants are selected based on brand fit, engagement, and compliance with program mechanics. You can participate multiple times and earn various rewards.

General Term & Conditions

1. This Program is being carried out by ActivAsia Inc. (“AAI”) as an authorized distributor of PMFTC products. IQOS Stores are operated by AAI and IQOS coaches are authorized sales representatives of AAI. ZYN.com is owned by Philip Morris International and its affiliate in the Philippines, PMFTC Inc ("PMFTC") and the online store of ZYN.com are operated by AAI, and all orders are fulfilled by AAI, as an authorized distributor of PMFTC products sold in IQOS Stores and ZYN.com. Deliveries are carried out by AAI or by AAI’s authorized third-party delivery providers.

2. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to modify, change, or revise the rules and mechanics of the Program.

3. Customers using multiple ZYN.com and/or Facebook.com/Instagram.com accounts to participate in the Program are disqualified. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to disqualify any Customer if there is any evidence of fraud or irregularities in his/her participation in the Program.

4. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to hold, suspend or block a Customer’s ZYN.com account due to suspicious, fraudulent or illegal activity.

5. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to cancel, amend, or revoke these terms and conditions of the Program without notice in the event of fraudulent activity, cheating, a security breach or any anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, an event or disturbance outside of PMFTC’s control such as acts of God, civil or military events, catastrophes, technical issues/connectivity, pandemic or war. Any changes to the Program will be announced accordingly.

6. By participating in the Program, Customer confirms his/her consent to process his/her personal data provided as part of the Program. Details of such processing are described in Philip Morris International’s (PMI) Consumer Privacy Notice found at https://www.pmiprivacy.com/en/consumer and AAI’s Data Privacy Consent Policy.

7. Important information: This product is harmful and contains nicotine which is a highly addictive substance. This is for use only by adults and is not recommended for use by non-smokers. Please visit ZYN.com to find out more about Philip Morris International’s Good Conversion Practices.

1. The Customer will be subject to age verification process wherein he/she will be requested to submit a valid Government Issued ID before items can be purchased and/or delivered to the Customer. The following valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver's License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter's ID.

2. In cases where Customer cannot accept the delivery, an authorized representative who is at least eighteen (18) years old and above can claim on behalf of the Customer provided the following documents are presented to the courier:

a) Valid government issued ID of representative for identity check and age verification

b) Copy of a valid government issued ID of Customer for identity check and age verification

c) Signed authorization letter indicating the order reference number and stating that the Customer is authorizing the representative to receive the orders.

The courier will not be able to proceed with the transaction if any of the above-required documents are not presented.

3. For deliveries, the courier will communicate and coordinate the details, with delivery attempt at a maximum of two (2) times. A third delivery attempt will be available in selected cities that Program same/next day delivery; and can be arranged with an additional delivery fee that will be communicated in advance by AAI/courier, and to be confirmed by the Customer. In the event of failure to receive the delivery for credit card or GCash transactions, normal refund process will be followed:

For credit card transactions:

For Credit Cards issued locally: Refund will take up to 10 working days but also subject to issuing bank lead times

For Credit Cards issued abroad: Refund will take up to 45 days, but also subject to issuing bank lead times

You may check the status of your refund with your issuing bank.

4. For GCash transactions, refund must be coursed through IQOS Customer Care team. The Customer shall call IQOS Customer Care team to trigger the refund process and will be able to credit back to the Customer’s GCash account real time.

1. ZYN.com website may be subject to possible technical and system issues. We will provide the necessary notice to the Customers if such is the case.

2. All decisions of PMFTC and/or AAI and its agents in all matters relating to the interpretation and implementation of this mechanics are final, and no objections and/or appeals thereon will be entertained.

3. Customers in the Program agree and confirm the following:

  • that you are a legal-age smoker at least 18 years old or above as of the date of his/her participation in the Program;
  • that you have read and understood the terms and conditions detailed herein;
  • that you agree to follow the applicable mechanics of the Program;
  • that you agree to assume all such risks, foreseeable or otherwise, and hereby release and discharge PMFTC and/or AAI, its affiliates and all other persons and entities connected with the Program from any liability for, or any claims that may arise in respect of, any and all property losses and/or injuries whatsoever that you may sustain, no matter how any such property losses and/or injuries are caused.
