ZYN TRIAL OFFER TERMS & CONDITIONS (ZYN 3 DUO/ ORIGINALS ONE)
I. PROGRAM MECHANICS
A. What is the ZYN TRIAL OFFER?
1. The ZYN TRIAL OFFER (the “Offer”) allows eligible adult smokers and users of other nicotine products 18 years old and above to avail of the following with a purchase at least two (2) packs of HEETS, (i) receive another pack of HEETS for free, (ii) use an ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Kit (the “Trial Kit”) for free during the trial period, and (iii) receive an ZYN Trial Voucher at the end of the trial period upon the return of the Trial Kit.
B. Who are eligible to avail of the Offer?
1. The Offer is open to legal age consumers (“LAC”) who meet the following criteria:
(a) 18 years old and above;
(b) residing in the National Capital Region, Philippines;
(c) who smoke or use other nicotine-containing products who would otherwise continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products; and
(d) who have not previously purchased any ZYN device.
C. How can LACs avail of the Offer?
1. LACs can avail of the Offer via the following options:
(a) by expressing their intent to try through an ZYN Coach or ZYN Retail Sales, or
(b) by signing up at the ZYN.com Try page or ZYN Test Drive Page.
2. The steps to avail of the Offer are as follows:
A. VIA ZYN COACH OR ZYN STORES
(1) The ZYN Coach or ZYN Store Sales Expert must confirm the age of the LAC via face-to-face verification. In case of doubt as to the age of the LAC, the LAC must present any of the following valid Government Issued IDs (“GIIDs”) as proof of age: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver’s License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter’s ID.
(2) The ZYN Coach or ZYN Store Sales Expert shall check the LAC’s eligibility for the offer and, upon confirmation, shall present and explain the Trial Program Agreement to the LAC and get the LAC to sign on the same.
B. VIA ZYN.COM TRY PAGE OR ZYN TEST DRIVE PAGE
(1) The LAC will be contacted by an ZYN Customer Care agent to check the LAC’s eligibility and confirm LAC’s agreement to the Offer’s terms and conditions.
(2) Once confirmed, the ZYN Customer Care agent shall arrange for delivery of the HEETS packs and Trial Kit to the LAC.
(3) Upon delivery, the LAC will be subject to the age verification process where he/she will be required to present to the courier a valid GIID.
(4) The LAC shall then pay to the courier PhP280* for the purchase of the two (2) HEETS packs. Upon payment, the courier shall hand over to the LAC the 2 HEETS packs with 1 free HEETS pack (variant subject to availability) and the Trial Kit. (*Subject to retail price change.)
(5) The courier shall likewise present a copy of the Trial Program Agreement and collect the LAC’s signature on the same. The LAC should sign 2 sets of the Trial Program Agreement and retain 1 set for himself/herself and provide the other signed original set to the courier for AAI’s records.
(6) In cases where LAC is not present to accept the delivery, an authorized representative who is at least 18 years old can claim on behalf of the LAC provided the following documents are presented to the courier:
a. Valid GIID of representative for identity check and age verification;
b. Copy of a valid GIID of LAC for identity check and age verification;
c. Signed authorization letter stating that the LAC is authorizing the representative to receive the Trial Kit and HEETS packs and order reference number and to sign the ZYN Trial Offer Agreement on behalf of the LAC. The authorization letter will be surrendered to the courier.
(7) The courier will not be able to deliver the LAC’s Trial Kit and HEETS packs if any of the above-required documents are not presented.
(8) For deliveries, the courier will communicate and coordinate details, with delivery attempts at a maximum of two (2) times. A third delivery attempt can be arranged with an additional delivery fee that will be communicated in advance by an AAI representative/courier and to be confirmed by the LAC.
3. The Offer allows the LAC to use the Trial Kit for fourteen (14) Calendar days (the “Original Trial Period”) with the option to extend for another 14 Calendar days (the “Trial Extension Period”), and/or decide to purchase an IQOS device of their choice.
4. During the Trial Period, the LAC agrees to do the following:
(a) Complete the physical Guided Trial or Virtual Guided Trial within seven (7) calendar days from the hand-over of the Trial Kit. In the event that the LAC is uncontactable during the scheduled Guided Trial/Virtual Guided Trial, the ZYN Coach will attempt to contact the LAC within three (3) days from the scheduled appointment date. In case of the LAC’s failure to complete the Guided Trial within the scheduled period or in case the LAC becomes unreachable within 3 days from the scheduled appointment, PMFTC shall have the right to immediately retrieve the ZYN 3 DUO/ ORIGINALS ONE Kit thru its authorized distributor, AAI. To ensure an effective Guided Trial:
i) In case of a physical Guided Trial, it should be conducted within premises/ locations where use of the ZYN device is allowed;
ii) In case of a Virtual Guided Trial,
1. The Virtual Guided Trial must be conducted on the online video conferencing platform using the link provided to the LAC via their provided email address.
2. The LAC’s video conferencing capability must include access to and availability of internet connection, video conferencing device (mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer) and video conferencing platform.
3. LAC needs to allocate around 20 minutes but not more than 30 minutes for the physical Guided Trial or Virtual Guided Trial session.
4. LAC must choose a conducive location and environment that will allow him/her to use the ZYN device and chat comfortably with an ZYN Coach. LAC agrees to comply with existing laws and regulations in choosing the location/environment for the conduct of the Virtual Guided Trial and ensure that no persons below 18 years old will be able to view the Virtual Guided Trial session and LAC shall not be in locations where smoking/vaping is prohibited.
5. The LAC must have his/her video conferencing device’s camera on throughout the duration of the Virtual Guided Trial. The ZYN Coach has the prerogative to pause or stop the Virtual Guided Trial in case of any potential and actual violations to existing laws and regulations, and if there is confirmed or suspected presence of persons below 18 years old.
(b) Agree to receive a series of communication by way of check-in calls from an ZYN coach, as well as SMS, emails to provide relevant information about ZYN;
(c) Handle, use, and safekeep the Trial Kit in accordance with the user guides and manuals contained in the kit. During the Trial Period, the LAC is entitled to the warranty coverage as provided in the “ZYN Care Plus” that comes with a purchase of an ZYN device. For more details of the warranty coverage please refer to the Voluntary Warranty leaflet provided inside the box of the ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Trial Kit. If during the Trial Period, the LAC breaks/damages the ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE device and requests for a replacement, he/she should satisfy the conditions outlined in Annex A; and
(d) Contact his/her assigned ZYN Coach if the LAC opts to avail the 14-day Trial Extension Period. No further extension may be made after the Trial Extension Period.
5. At any time during the Trial Period, LAC can express his/her intent to purchase an ZYN device by informing the ZYN Coach during any of the scheduled check-in calls or contacting ZYN Customer Care using any of the contact details listed below. Purchase of the ZYN device can be transacted thru the following channels: ZYN Coach, ZYN.com and ZYN Store. The ZYN Coach shall then arrange for the LAC to return the Trial Kit.
6. When the LAC decides to purchase an ZYN device during the Trial period, or when the LAC finishes the Trial Period, the LAC shall return the Trial Kit in accordance with the guidelines outlined in Annex B. Upon return, the LAC shall be entitled to the ZYN Trial Voucher worth Php 500 starting June 1, 2022 which the LAC can use for the purchase of his/her first ZYN device. If the LAC has any other voucher or discount codes (e.g., a unique code from the Refer-A-Friend program or the Change 10,000 Lives Employee Referral Program), the LAC can choose which voucher to use, provided that only one discount voucher or code can be applied and the use of each voucher or code shall be subject to their respective terms and conditions.
The Php500 Trial Offer voucher can be in physical or electronic/digital formats.
7. An LAC who participated in the Offer but did not decide to purchase at the end of the trial period may avail of the Offer again only after 30 days of the end date of his/her previous participation.
8. At the end of the 14-day trial period, a promotional boost may be offered. When offered, the promo boost is only valid for ten (10) days from the time the email and/or SMS is sent to the LAC, which can be used in ZYN.com, ZYN Stores or transactions thru the ZYN Coach. This promo boost is non-transferrable and subject to change.
II. GENERAL
1. All decisions of PMFTC and/or AAI and its agents in all matters relating to the interpretation and implementation of this mechanics are final, and no objections and/or appeals thereon will be entertained.
2. LACs participating in the Offer agree and confirm the following:
- that he/she is a legal-age smoker or user of other nicotine products, 18 years old or above;
- that he/she has read and understood the terms and conditions detailed herein;
- that he/she agrees to follow the applicable mechanics of the Offer;
- that he/she agree to assume all such risks, foreseeable or otherwise, and hereby releases and discharges PMFTC and/or AAI, its affiliates and all other persons and entities connected with the Offer from any liability for, or any claims that may arise in respect of, any and all property losses and/or injuries whatsoever that he/she may sustain, no matter how any such property losses and/or injuries are caused.
3. ZYN.com is owned by Philip Morris International and its affiliate in the Philippines, PMFTC Inc. (“PMFTC”). The online store of ZYN.com is operated by ActivAsia Inc. (or “AAI”), and all orders are fulfilled by AAI, as an authorized distributor of PMFTC products sold in ZYN.com. This Offer is being carried out by PMFTC in cooperation with AAI as an authorized distributor of PMFTC.
4. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to modify, change, or revise the rules and mechanics of the Offer.
5. PMFTC (or AAI in coordination with PMFTC) reserves the right to hold, suspend or block a LAC’s ZYN.com account due to suspicious, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
6. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to cancel, amend, or revoke these terms and conditions without notice in the event of fraudulent activity, cheating, a security breach or any anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, an event or disturbance outside of PMFTC’s or AAI’s control such as acts of God, civil or military events, catastrophes, technical issues /connectivity, pandemic or war. Any changes to the Offer will be announced accordingly.

ANNEX A – Conditions if the LAC damages the ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Trial Kit and requests for a replacement during the Trial Period of the ZYN Trial Offer
1. Subject to the warranty and replacement eligibility requirements, in the event of product damage during the Trial Period, the LAC may report this by contacting ZYN Customer Care using any of the contact details listed above. A Customer Care agent will assess the reported damage and arrange immediate replacement if deemed eligible. For more information, please refer to www.iqos.ph
2. The LAC will be reminded of the following in order to be eligible for the replacement:
- Verify the identity of the LAC upon delivery
- Submit the defective ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Device to the courier for inspection, collection and sign the acknowledgement form.
- Verify LAC’s ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Device (both holder and charger) are original, not tampered and/or counterfeit
- Verify LAC’s ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Device matches serial number assigned upon delivery and/or replacement
- The replacement ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Device will be registered on LAC’s behalf
ANNEX B – Requirements for return of the Trial Kit
1. To return the Trial Kit, the LAC can:
- Inform the ZYN Coach who is assisting his/her 14-day hypercare journey, for the ZYN Coach to arrange for a courier to pick-up the Trial Kit;
- Visit the ZYN Store where he/she secured the ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Trial Kit
- In the case that the LAC contacts Customer Care, the Customer Care agent will direct the LAC to contact their assigned ZYN Coach or to visit the ZYN Store where he/she secured the ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Trial Kit.
(a) LAC should return the complete/the same ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Trial Kit, not counterfeit and working/fully functioning ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Device Kit (including the box and accompanying contents such as the ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE* Pocket Charger, ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE* Holder, ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE USB type C charging cable, ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Power Adaptor and ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE cleaning tool) to courier/AAI representative.
*ORIGINALS ONE has the pocket charger and holder as one unit.
(b) On pick up/hand over date, completion of check and verification of the courier as to the status of the ZYN 3 DUO / ORIGINALS ONE Trial Kit is based on the checklist provided in ZYN Device Return Acknowledgment Form.
(c) Present the signed ZYN Trial Program Agreement
(d) Notification of your intention to return the ZYN Device should be coursed through the ZYN Coach with a confirmed scheduled pick-up date or return date within the 14-dayTrial Period / 14-day Trial Extension Period.
