This session debuts an initiative led by small business advisors to find common ground with large defense contractors to identify and recommend solutions to present technology transition obstacles. It will focus on best practices in integrating the Mentor Protégé, ManTech and SBIR programs, in response to recent Congressional actions, and assessing new opportunities for small firms latent in such integration.

Mr. McNamara is “the billion-dollar man” – the first federal program official to successfully invest $1B in transitioning SBIR technologies into Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
