The non-profit ITD specializes in both developing and
exploiting innovative imaging technologies to extract
desired information. Our organization's accomplishments
include developing a suite of hyperspectral sensors that
cover the Ultra-Violet, the Visible Near-Infrared, and the
Short Wave Infra-Red portions of the spectrum, respectively.
In fact, ITD's Portable Hyperspectral Imaging System was
inducted into the Space Technology Hall of Fame(tm) in 2005.
In addition, ITD has developed several patents from its
intellectual property. Our research projects, both past and
present, cover several application areas including
agriculture, forestry, forensics, and public health. ITD
has a 21 year proven track record for converting its applied
research results into commercial products or services. Our
hyperspectral sensors were recently spun-off to Lextel
Intelligence Systems. InTime, Inc., another ITD spin-off,
services our nation's farmers with real-time prescription
maps for applying crop chemicals.
