| Feb 21, 2012 | Webinar: Peer Review Process for NIH SBIR/STTR Program | Little Rock, AR | This free webinar presentation open to all interested parties will be
held on February 21, 2012. The presentation will run from 9:00-10:00 a.m.

The NIH Peer Review system and how it relates to review of SBIR/STTR
Applications will be presented during this webinar. Over the past several
years, NIH embarked upon a trans-NIH Enhancing Peering Review Initiative
resulting in the successful implementation of many internal and external
stakeholders' recommendations to enhance the NIH peer review system.
These resulted in such things as deploying a new scoring system, using
new templates for reviewer critiques, shortening the length of
applications, and restructuring the research strategy section to align
with the five NIH-wide review criteria.
