The FLC Far West and Mid-Continent regions are teaming up with the Hawaii Technology Transfer Group, which consists of small businesses, the University of Hawaii, the Office of Naval Research, and Hawaii Federal Laboratories. This joint effort, TechEnterprise 2003, will be held at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Hotel/Conference Center.

Some topics to be presented include; Licensing Techniques and Tools; Patent Law & Legislative Update; How Venture Firms Work With Federal Labs; Creating Spin-Off Companies from Lab Technologies; Inventive Partnering; Showcasing Technologies & Commercialization Opportunities, Venture Capital War Game, Telemedicine / Health Care / Medical Technology, Environmental Technology, Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials; The Hydrogen Economy, and Homeland Security.
