The National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer has
developed a new
online Advanced Course to explicitly teach
researchers/entrepreneurs and
those advising researchers/entrepreneurs on Product
Development and the
Innovation Process.
Overview: This class will train and expose
students/researchers to
engineering excellence best practices utilized to develop
breakthrough
products with an entrepreneurial perspective.
Entrepreneurship is the
practice of starting new organizations, particularly new
businesses in
response to identified opportunities. Entrepreneurs take
prudent risks
and they assess costs, market/customer needs and persuade
others to join
and help. An entrepreneur is usually a positive thinker
and a decision
maker The focus of this class is to provide product
development tools to
enable risk analysis through management by facts.
